Who we are.

     Welcome to IRELAND ANGUS, where a hometown name meets proven Angus proficiency.  IRELAND ANGUS was started in 1951 by FH (Shorty) and Betty Ireland, southeast of Belvidere, SD.  Currently headquartered in Kadoka, SD, with main ranch operations done at the main ranch, located 20 miles southwest of Kadoka, Ireland Angus is dedicated to bringing you the best of Angus genetics through the use of Artificial Insemination, hard work and hours of studying growing trends to bring to you the High Performance, High Efficiency, and Low Cost cattle that you have come to expect from us.

     Along with our cattle operation, IRELAND ANGUS now offers a variety of services, including Trail Rides, Wagon Train, Meat Sales, Hunting (seasonal), Freeze Branding, AI’ing, Firewood Sales, Storage Units and now, started in 2010, we are added Ireland Fireworks, for all your Independence Day celebration needs.

     We now have housing lots for sale at the old campground 1/4 mile west of Kadoka on Highway 248.  Perfect for those who want to be near town for school, work, ect., but not living immediately in the town proper.
